Hufford Family Farm
Hufford Family Farm is a small, family-run operation which values the rural lifestyle. We run a farm which raises alfalfa and grass hay, as well as a ranch with horses and cattle. To complement these concerns, we do equine massage, farrier work, raise and train AQHA horses and mini/toy Australian Shepherds.
Our Mission
To support a commitment to the rural lifestyle.
Our History
De Hufford has attended a 150 hour equine massage course at Equitouch in Loveland, CO, and has been certified as an equine massage therapist. She has been barrel racing and training horses for 10 years. Duane Hufford provides farrier service. He attended a 320 hour course at Pacific Coast Horseshoeing School in Sacramento, CA, with emphasis on horse anatomy and physiology. He was certified in farrier science. Both Duane and De run the farm and ranch and raise the puppies. The breeding operation is small, producing 2 - 4 litters per year, in order to keep the dogs socialized and a part of the family. |
